Children

Children are playing outside in the garden,
(they ‘re) looking for freedom, adventure and something new.
Screaming and shouting – laughing and running,
hiding behind every tree they can find.

Children are lying down on the floor,
they ‘re dreaming big, building towers into the sky
Having no cell-phone, nor diaries or watches,
knowing exactly the time for each game to play.

But they don’t care what time it is!
And they don’t care what they are living for!

Children come home telling us different stories,
(they ‘re) not always true, but don’t come out of the blue.
Having no cell-phone, nor diaries or watches,
knowing exactly the time for each game to play.

But they don’t care what time it is!
And they don’t care about anything at all!
Children are playing outside in the garden,
(they ‘re) looking for freedom, adventure and something new.
